The Mission of AVIATION VOICES

AviationVoices.com was launched to provide a platform for ‘informed analysis’ – reports on commercial aviation safety and training topics reflecting the views of subject experts, presented in depth and in context. In this era of memes and sound bites, aviation stakeholders deserve a more complete understanding of issues, options, benefits and consequences.

Aviation Voices is therefore a forum for all reasoned views.

The heart of the AviationVoices.com website is the ‘Dialogues’ section – long-form commentaries which go well beyond the typical quick-read magazine article or company press release. Authors are welcome to propose or submit analyses for consideration on any relevant topic.

AviationVoices.com also features a ‘Resources’ section, a focused aviation safety and training ‘skybrary’ of links on HoT Topics, People & Performance, Tech Enablers, Training Methodology, Safety Culture, and Regulators & Organizations.

In September 2023, we launched the 1st AI-assisted Aviation Voices eNewsletter for commercial aviation safety and training professionals. The weekly newsletter features an array of timely stories by journalists and commentators from around the world. Based on your reading habits, the AI delivers stories on the topics you are most interested in.

Similarly, ‘Rick’s Clicks’ on the Aviation Voices website is an aggregation of more than 50 interesting, current reads. We do the research daily and curate the most relevant material available.

We bring to these tasks more than a half-century of newspaper, magazine and broadcasting learning, teaching and practical application across multiple domains: aerospace, defense, telecommunications, finance, healthcare. An insatiable desire to understand new technologies, methodologies and trends. And an absolute dedication to factual, fair, quality journalism.
